OUR STAFF BIOS
Barb joined All Office Machines 20 years ago and is the Office Administrator. If you need to place a service call, order supplies or have a question on your account, she is your go-to person.
Barb is married and has two gorgeous beagles. When Barb is not working, she loves to spend her time with friends, family, travelling and boating.
Born in Brighton, Ontario and a graduate from RCC School of Technology in Toronto and after a couple of stops in Markham and Kingston, he joined All Office Machines in 1997. Mike lives in Cobourg and travels the Northumberland and Peterborough Counties with his professional and courteous demeanor. Even with 30 plus years, Mike still attends factory training courses to keep on top of the latest technology.
Mike is a true sports fan, enjoying all sports with his favourites being hockey, football and baseball. He cheers very loudly for Montreal Canadiens (but don’t hold that against him), Pittsburgh Steelers and of course our beloved Toronto Blue Jays. On his downtime, he is an avid Parrothead and enjoying as many Jimmy Buffet concerts that he can.
With Mike’s positive outlook and knowledge in service, we are thrilled that he is part of our team
Kevin has worked at All Office Machines for over 36 years and the Service Manager. He is the proud recipient of “Top 10 Technicians” of all of Canada from Panasonic. He is factory trained by Sharp, Lexmark, Panasonic and Francotyp Postalia.
He is a graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming College in electronics. Kevin is married with two sons and just patiently awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild.
Kevin and his youngest son challenged each other, and they both earned their black belts in Tae Kwan Do together.
Kevin is progressing towards his Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Computer Science at Trent University.
With Kevin’s amazing troubleshooting skills and his mechanical & electrical aptitudes, he is a great asset to our team.
Arlene is excited to be celebrating her 35th year at All Office Machines. She helps her customers select the right copier/printer for their “wants” and more importantly, their “needs.” She doesn’t stop there; she continually follows up right through to the end of the life of the equipment, no matter how long it takes.
She loves to give back to the community and has been a very active Rotarian for over 17 years. Her main focus is Rotary’s Victoria Day Fireworks and Family Night every Victoria Day weekend and loves to help out at the Breakfast Food Program every week.
Arlene is also a very long time member of the Women’s Business Network and is currently the Membership Director and the proud recipient of the prestigious “Member of the Year Award” for 2018/2019 year.
It is not all work and no play for Arlene as she loves to be outside whether it is biking, hiking, kayaking, SUP, running, camping, travelling, or geocaching. And when the weather doesn’t cooperate, she spends her time scrapbooking and curling.
Born and raised in Peterborough, Peter grew up in the family business, spending his summers travelling to the area schools cleaning and servicing typewriter, getting them ready for the new school year.
After graduating from Adam Scott, he received his diploma in electrical engineering technology at Sir Sanford Fleming College. He started working full time for the business in the service department repairing cash registers, calculators and fax machines. Peter spent the early years working in the service department learning that end of the business and then when his father retired in the late 1990s; Peter took over the operations of the business.
While at Fleming he met the love of this life (yes, it is Arlene). When Peter was on a service training course, Gus, Peter’s dad thought it would be a good idea if Arlene came to work at All Office Machines, so she was hired. Just like that, …..and the rest is history.
Peter’s downtime includes baseball, golfing, running(sometimes), skiing, and snowshoeing. Together with Arlene, he enjoys camping, kayaking, SUP, and sometimes he will join her on some of her geocaching adventures.’
Gus founded All Office Machines in 1961. He built it over the years and eventually handed it over into the safe hands of Peter and Arlene.
Over the years, technology has completely transformed the way we all do business. There is now more choice than ever before with new devices coming out all the time.
